Golf

Anyone who has ever swung a golf club has a deep appreciation for the challenges! So lofty the goal; many start on their own personal road to excellence every year, and Vancouver Islanders are leading the pack with various courses that anyone can play regardless of skill. The Greater Victoria area, with over 20 courses, is ranked at the top of Canadian golfing cities. While we can boast the most temperate climate in Canada we also like to boast about the length of our golfing season, our 365 days a year golfing season. Every season in our beautiful city of Victoria has it's special charm: April when it is 'snowing' with cherry tree blossoms; basking in the warmth of our February sunshine, cleansing the soul with the fresh, clear sea air. No matter which season, you will most likely find Victoria golf courses open for challenge and play. Snow days here are truly rare and we receive just half the annual rainfall that makes the rest of the west coast is so infamous.

Whether you are a scratch golfer or weekend hacker, our courses will challenge you in some of the most spectacular island settings. Vancouver Island offers a course, or two, for everyone, for whatever personal goal your new day holds. Come and challenge yourself on over thirty 18 hole courses ranging from 4,000 to 7,000 yards or our twenty plus 9 hole courses 1,500 to 4,000 yards, then we have over nine par 3's, 700 to 2,200yards. You will even find a couple of mini-golf courses where those in your travel group who have not been bitten by the golf bug can have some laughs and, possibly, even beat you?

Golf! Conquer your own personal challenges, revel in a fresh perspective, a new beginning. Golf, the game of learning who we are and what we can do!
