Amethyst Inn is located in the elegant Rockland district of Victoria about 3 km. (2 miles) north-east of the very center of town. Within easy walking distance are Craigdarroch Castle and the Lieutenant-Governor’s residence whose magnificent French gardens are available to you free of charge. You could spend hours exploring the old mansions in our tree-lined neighborhood. You are only a ten-miute walk from Antique Row (Fort Street). A twenty minute walk will take you to the magnificent BC Museum, the Inner harbour and the shops on Government Street.
For those who are visiting family and friends, our Bed and Breakfast is within three km. (2 miles) of the Royal Jubilee hospital. We're also close to Camosun College, the Victoria Conference Centre, and the University of Victoria (“Uvic”, as the locals say).
